Purposes 

Stimulate campus-wide interest in the pure and applied biological sciences;

Keep abreast of biological issues that affect the general public;

Expand awareness of career options and opportunities;

Provide greater professional and social interaction among students and faculty as well as with pre-college biology teachers, graduate students, and researchers.
